Workshop & engineering services
Our workshop is fully equipped for reconditioning and manufacturing a wide range of sawmill equipment. We machine, fit, weld, fabricate, and rebuild to exacting standards. - Debarkers, chippers, and edgers - Bandmills, carriages, and log decks - Transfer systems, rails, wheels, and arbours.
Maintenance
We don’t just install equipment—we keep it running. Our team offers proactive maintenance, on-call breakdown response, and full system assessments to help avoid costly downtime, improve site conversion through correct machine centre setup, and increase production. - Preventative maintenance programs - On-site troubleshooting and repairs - Flow analysis and process improvement - Total site maintenance management available.
Specialist services
Outside the band of general site maintenance we offer specialist maintenance services including: - Machine centre alignment checks - utilising our sawmill specific laser alignment tooling we are able to check, adjust and confirm your machine centres are within tolerance ensuring optimum performance. - Wheel grinding services - we have multiple wheel grinding machines to dress bandsaw wheels either in situ or at our workshop depending on machine type and location. - Sawmill health checks - PSEL offer log in to lumber out mechanical condition surveys to identify and prevent mechanical related downtime.
Automation & control systems
We work closely with our control systems partners or your nominated supplier to integrate smart automation into your mill. Whether you’re upgrading legacy systems or implementing new tech, we’ll ensure seamless electrical and control integration. - New control systems - Automation retrofits - Operator training and commissioning.
